I was a bit conflicted about S3 cause on one hand no comfy Amphibia adventures but on the other, Anne’s Mom is super cute and Sprig canonically wants to be her son in law.
I guess that’s one reason I like timeskip Anne with Sprig because she seems mature like her Mom and still into younger boys like Sprig

It’s mostly cause Anne is super cute and that transfers through to her Mum. Especially the episode when Sprig wanted her to be his mother in law through Anne. I suppose that’s also a part of Sprig getting a fasccination with older human girls because of Anne
