Unironically, is DBZ the only shonen manga to avoid the "chosen one" trope? Sure, Goku being a Saiyan gave him an advantage over regular people, but he was easily the weakest of his race and outclassed by humans for most of his childhood. He just trained and got stronger after every loss.
