Starting a fresh Deadlocked save on the highest difficulty is a lot of fun. You're really limited on ammo so you have to make shots count, group enemies together for big hits, make sure you're using efficient weapon mods (like putting the shock mod on the Dual Vipers to 1 hit all the swarmer enemies) all while avoiding damage since you can only take 1 or 2 hits. I think this really fits with the theme of the game too since the audience probably loves seeing you blow up 8 guys at once, I think they should have added a more fleshed out scoring system or something to encourage you to show off for the camera.
When I played through the game on on normal difficulty it felt lame and every mission left me with a "that's it?" feeling since they were so short. But replaying on the highest difficulty and having to be conscious of enemy positions and ammo and stuff while avoiding damage makes it feel much more substantial. Though I still think it's weird that the game is based around arena combat has much shorter arena missions than the ones in 2/3.
