Towards the later phase of its life it was also one of the last long anime original shounen in conditions where media of any kind, unrelated to any anime or card games, only seems to get faster paced and I can feel my brain fraying apart a little faster if I look at it too long. Not a lot of time given to sit with a character cast or even 1 character, these days. RIP
