I think all the designs are at least a little plappable, but it's the lighting (or lack thereof) that makes a lot of characters lose their softness.

PD Kim and other high-level employees seem to want it that way though. Recognizable silhouettes and blue-ocean strategies over trying to compete with other gachas. I don't think I've ever seen that kind of reductive strategy win without being Apple lol
