people can still take them to the range. no one gets charged with violating AWBs unless they beat their wives or are doing gang shit. the only time I've ever heard of someone catching AWB charges not related to a DV call was some guy was doing donuts, slammed into a cop car and his trunk opened revealing his cool guns.
plus most of the counties in the state don't actively attempt to enforce any awbs unless it's in conjunction with another felony offense
