the only reason you need to deal with the ratings board is because sony/nintendo/microsoft/atari/apple/google/etc wont let you ship your game to their platform without a proper rating given from the boards. i understand why theyre here and do this but the fact GTAV is only an M rating when it justifiably entered AO and then some is stupid because i cant even get past E10+ if cleavage shows up enough

and again as QA somehow this is my responsibility to catalog instances where issues could arise that the boards would penalize us for. and that's not even factoring in the different standards, or languages in each game too where "uh oh we said "stick" in the wrong portuguese, we used brazil's instead of portugal's and now SCEE fails our submission" kind of stupid shit.
everything im bitching about is also arguably violating my NDAs too which is yet another part of the problem
