Super Saiyan supercharged. Basically the "fuck it we ball" of the Super Saiyan, or maybe the Kaioken. It's satisfying in that it shows how far Goku went by training in the afterlife. Storywise, it's used intelligently, because it doesn't defeat Buu, which would be incredibly lame after Super Saiyan 1 defeated Freeza and 2 (well, it wasn't 2, it was "Gohan's power", which made it better at the time) defeated Cell. Instead, Goku uses it to stall and they try to get Kid Buu with it but it fails, leading to other developments.

Another plot development. It opens the door for the Buutenks and Vegeto situation. I don't see what "purpose" it should have, it's one attempt made by the heroes to get further and it creates drama and twists with the waiting, the absorptions, stalling against Buutenks...
