This isn't new information. Melusine is a lazy cunt in Chaldea because she knows she can be.

She was characterized that way in LB6 too - they said multiple times that as much as she could get away with it, she would be lazy. She didn't even wake up earlier than noon even on Morgans orders. The only thing that mattered to her enough to outweigh that was doing stuff Aurora wanted.

Without Aurora, in Chaldea, where there are 400 other servants who can pick up the slack, she just sits around on her ass. She does occasionally get competitive with the other servants like Kukulcan though.
