Pic rel is EQs in Japan over the last 24 hours showing magnitude 1.8 and above. Majority are happening right on plate boundaries, or very close to them. Japan has major subduction zones, where earthquake swarms can sometimes be foreshocks to a larger impending quake.

I know, I know. Earthquakes aren't typically considered paranormal. But The Future I Saw has gain a shit ton of traction, and monitoring seismic activities happens to be a fun past time of mine.
