I personally really like it when they portray family issues in children's shows like Digimon Adventure and Ojamajo Doremi.
My only problem with RL was that line from Naru's mother saying "no mother hates her daughter" to Bell after everything we've seen, but otherwise I really liked it. I personally like how it builds on Kouji and Ito's family, as well as Sonata and Rizumu (I think I like Iuchi more in this sense than Tsubofumi, come to think of it.)
