I thought 5 was pretty peak, bringing the Makai Kingdom and Disgaea lore together. The only problem there was the story itself being typical shonen stuff.

True, it's always kind of been there on the side. I won't say I'm unbiased, the feeling probably comes from being bombarded by other games/anime using the same setting so much in the past years. Sekiro, Nioh, Demon Slayer... It's almost as played out as high fantasy for me at this point! I've been on a big sci-fi/giant robot kick lately, give me a Great Flonzor X musou game!!
