Yeah you should be able to toggle zoom/firemode/laser mode in the hideout and the game should remember that for the next raid.

I unironically would like safeties in the game, but only turned on on guns that you find in crates or as static spawns. I know it would serve absolutely zero gameplay purpose but I'm still somewhat surprised you can't put your gun on safe in Gun Autism: The Official Videogame
