After seeing how she was presented in the chapter, I'm inclined to agree.
Unlike the usual doomed setups, the bad stuff between Marsha and Marianne happens when they first meet (before the chapter's story), and then they recover and make amends. It's the opposite of doomed, it's more like healing. I honestly appreciate this because BP proves they don't need to rely on rehashing doomed stuff for emotional impact.
