I liked the ending but this chapter is an even bigger nothingburger than chapter 9 was, which leaves me pretty disappointed, i'm sure Reddit will love it though, they couldn't have picked a better time to write a story about the horror of wars than when the actual real world is having like 3 different wars going on at once and the relationship between Sentinel and Marsha is sure to tickle the bones of the retarded Yuri fanbase
>Vertin is barely in this chapter, in fact any of the estabilished characters are barely presents, the poster had Sonetto name on it and she literally only has 2 lines in the whole chapter, i don't know why they even bothered putting her name on it
>Instead the chapters focus on Sentinel,Charon,Masha and Creius (who now gets a proper portrait), the new leader of Zeno

For events, most of them are self-contained, although some canonically happen at certain points related to the story. Starting from 2.0 onward however you're gonna have an issue because they're de facto sequels to 1.9.
For character stories, all but 3 are unrelated prequels. Kakania's and Vila's happen right after their patches (1.9/ch7 and 1.8 respectively), Semmelweis' happens after her adventures in Dusks (and you're gonna have to catch up with some of her story from 1.6 too, it's older roguelike so may never get a rerun), the rest is whatever honestly.

Hissabeth gimmick is that she's able to spam mini version of her ultimate so she goes well with ultimate themed characters like Melania (who increases her damage) and Recoletta (who gets free moxie everytime she mini ultimate), name day who's the 5* of the patch is also an ultimate character
