are you talking about the outlines?
the outline shader in the actual game is just really badly programed and made for a low resolution.
when you up the resolution the offests of the outline layer get pushed out of whack.
the spaces where the outlines are meant to be override the Zbuffer and cut out small parts of the character models. like this.
in order to get smooth outlines, go into the texture offset settings and play around with the X and Y offsets until this hole is covered, I don't have my settings here but I think there's also also an integer scaling lock you can switch.
the most importantly render the game at 4K or higher then SSAA downsample to 1080p.
this will make the outlines smooth as well as give you the best AA. you can make it even smoother with added FXAA.
