Dont worry i was like you, the game is really solid because you have years of content when the game was really good so you have a MASSIVE world to explore right from the start, the game is still really solid all across the next region inazuma(japan) and all its updates up until the chasm which was a liyue update
As soon as you start sumeru(the region after japan) you will understand why the game started to die, and when you reach natlan(last region), the literal third world region based on america you will lose interest in it and you will understand why the game lost half of its playerbase and why they keep losing money

My advice is to enjoy it while it last, you still have like 100 hours of fun gameplay until it starts shitting the bed.
