it did I bought the game for the art/atmosphere but the gameplay was so bland and raw, literally zero upgrades or power ups or new skills in a metroidvania of all things just jump dodge attack in a genre I already not huge fan just made me put it off, for example I really enjoyed bloodstained not like loved but it was enjoyable and I did almost everything that the game had except for one secret ending
