I feel like there's actually some valid possibility to this or something similar.
There's a lot of weird symbolism around the Knight and Kris that seems to imply they may be connected in more ways than just the planning.
>They do similar poses
>The Sword Route room with the black monster that mirrors your movements that has code to change to a black deer
>The way Tenna says he made a deal with the Roaring Knight in the flashback scene but in Sword Route he says his deal was with Kris
>The stuff about Kris losing their hand alongside the holes in the knight's hands
>Jevil's lines about a "nightmare awakening in your hearts, in the shadow of the knight's hand"
>The way the phone immediately calls and reminds Kris of their promise as Kris is about to hop out the window after Susie
It all makes me wonder if Kris and the Knight are more like "tied by the soul" or something. That their movements are linked in some way.
