What makes us human isn't that we're organic. There is a lot of organic life on planet Earth. The most unique thing about humanity is our DNA and our sentience/sapience. The Andro-Eidos lack the former, but they do seem to possess the latter. But if our DNA is all that makes us human, than a fertilized egg would be human. Same would be true of any part of our bodies that still had our DNA but was no longer part of us. So, we need both, which is why Adam asked to merge with EVE.

Yet, that's an admission that humanity as the Naytiba have lost the sentience/spaience of humanity. The ability to be kind, love, forgive, etc. While there are a few examples like Oracle, they're considered failures by Adam while most of the Naytibas are mindless, violent beasts. Humanity, the real humanity, is at a dead end. At least they are without the help of an Andro-Eidos like EVE.

>My point is, why would a superior being choose to deliberately create us weak? When he can create beings made of metal or whatever, with chips and everything.
Now you're thinking like Mother Sphere. She agrees with Adam that Humanity is at a dead end. She seems to have her own plans for the future of Mankind and hers involves metal and silicon. Although her Angels don't seem to start out all that bright, even if they have potential.

If you were instead referring to a creator being or race or technology, we'll never know. We may never even know if we were real or artificial. Does an ant farm realize their entire universe is artificially created to be as pets to another species? Does it matter at the end of the day? If you never knew the truth of things, but still lived a life you felt was worth living, would it matter all that much?
