One of my concerns is that the psychic powers are going to prevent the existence of new power ups. One of the main reasons I like metroidvanias is collecting shiny new toys to play with. Now, I'm sure that a good number of new abilities are going to be contextualized as psi powers, but if so they need to be properly out there. The phazon powers were honestly not that great.
