Given all the money they're spending on the marketing, there's no way the movie will actually meet their expectations, it's not going to pull barbie numbers and save the company, that's guaranteed at this point, so internally in WB, james gunn will lose influence and all the DC projects coming out after superman that are still in production, like supergirl, will be reworked to correct the negative criticisms superman receives, most likely the tone and unfunny comedy; other projects that nobody but james gunn wanted that haven't started production will get canceled right away, like the authority, st rock and waller, to focus on the important characters; creature commandos and peacemaker getting cancelled; and the matt reeves universe will get immediately resurrected since the batman part 1 and the penguin would be their only legit hits.
All this really, causing once again massive studio meddling, failed test screenings and poor box office results due to bland projects, until zaslav finally fucks off and sells WB, then, the new CEO will decide what to do with gunn.
