I do use Playnite on my PC, shamelessly showing off my home layout. Works great for streaming everything over Moonlight, but actually tracking retro games is through RetroAchievements. Playnite has a plugin called SuccessStory that you can link your accounts to so they all show up nice and consistent next to each other
I've got cross save set up across my PC, phone, Switch, and Vita, so any achievements earned on any of those will show up.
Exophase works well too for just tracking, again by linking RetroAchievements and whatever other services you care to track. I use it to check progress on my phone
