The main appeal of this gamedev community over all others is that it wasn't a reddit faggot daycare. The discord completely fucked that over. It was the one selling point that /agdg/ had but because this hobby flooded with complete normalfag animals over the last 5 years it was inevitable that this place would fill up with them and they would annoy all the competent high-IQ white devs out of the place. This is why 2020 /agdg/ feels so drastically different from now. You will notice that every single pro-discord pro-inner-circle anti-crab sensibility is very redditesque at its core. They turned the only nonreddit dev community into reddit and you're telling me that that's a good thing?
