Hello! I'm back probably for a little bit I don't know but I've been making mad progress. I can't even remember most of it but here is some fishing progress.
I made the minigame quicker, easier and also added a load more fish so regardless of when or where you fish there is a large variety now.

I've also stayed in a small village in Spain that was beautiful and amazing and traveled to other countries as well. Japan was just so damn nice for me and my lifestyle that it would absolutely be perfect to live in. I need to replace the objective icons in my game, I'm going to add translations to my game but the objective icons literally just have text on them (complete, in progress etc.) For failing and completing objectives it's obvious - a checkmark and an X cross respectively. But what about an icon for an "in progress" state of an objective? Any ideas?

I've gained plenty from /agdg/, but none of it came from posting my game(s). When I first got into gamedev, I did my own market research and came up with the "average playtime" theory, which you may remember me posting quite a bit about over a year ago. I first thought Zukowski was just another grifter and dismissed most of what he had to say, but nowadays, I'm convinced, and more or less follow his school of thought, with genre and "magics" mattering more than average playtime.

For me it's absolutely Future Phantoms, I really loved the atmosphere, story felt a little relatable but I just wish the combat had something more unique to it, like a special gimmick or something.
