Same reason you see console war threads. A third of those people are actually that tribalistic, and the rest are just shitposting, and combined they make up more posts than genuine enjoyers of games. People will post like action games are a collection of like a dozen titles or so from three directors and there's 1-2 good ones and the rest are all unplayable dogshit.
