There's actually a manga which goes into all of keiba history from the 90s onwards and detailed it all the way to current era called 馬なり1ハロン劇場 (Uma Nari Ichi Haron Gekijou). It's pretty cute, but absolutely too niche for most people. Maybe Uma's popularity will help it pick up overseas, but all the characters are characterized differently.
