NEW PLAYER TIP || OBLIVIOUSNESS & UNDETECTABLE
Have you ever been playing as a survivor, and the killer just appears with no heart beat or music? This means there is one of two possible status effects at play that can hide the killer's terror radius! Obliviousness and Undetectable status affects can both do this, but it's important to understand the distinction!
Undetectable:
>A status effect that is applied to the killer
>The killer's terror radius is hidden to all survivors
>The killer's "red stain" (the glow in front of them that shows where they're looking) is hidden
>The killer's aura is hidden to all survivors regardless of any aura reading perk
Obliviousness
>A status affect that is applied to a survivor
>This survivor can no longer hear the killer's terror radius music or heart beat
Know the difference, it could save your life!
