Now that there is strong evidence that suggests Sans originated from Deltarune, there is a lot that I'm wondering. Who was he talking about when he said "our reports"? Reports imply a degree of organization, so what would be the nature of this group? The chronology is also something that I wonder about. When did he receive these reports?
It could be from Deltarune...
When he speaks to you in Undertale, does he know that we are the player in Deltarune? Is that why he's wary of us in Undertale? If so, what could we possibly do to him in Deltarune that would make him as cautious and cynical as he is?
But if that is the case, then how does deltarune sans in chapter 1, 2 and 4 seem to imply he has a deeper understanding of you than he lets on? Why does he have Grilby's building but remodeled?

Is Sans stuck in a time loop?
