Ross said it: signing wasn't slowing down in the night, which is extremely suspicious. Charlie's video got 3kk views, but it amounted to 30k signatures a day for just a couple of days. The videos that came after had less views and, realistically, much greater audience overlap, but suddenly we started getting 150k signatures a day. A pewdiepie post (not even video) and jackseptik video with less than a million views would not be able to achieve that.
Now, what are the chances that the EU petitions website has some poor checking systems if not outright security flaws? Don't you people remember how 4chan used to break all polls and got Moot as Time person of the year or something?
We can pretty much assume that the last three days of signatures have been fake. July 1, 2 and 3. We were around 700k before that, and well, we can hope that we've gathered some 100k in the last three days after all. That places us at around 800k signatures, which means that reaching some 1M actual signatures is still possible if we keep pushing this month. The official numbers are pretty much meaningless at this point, so they should be ignored.
