Doing a reincarnation chain and Destiny: The Darkness solidified a lot of this, so this is unique to my chain, but...Essentially, each life that Jumper lives is a single [Shape] they take up and refine, perhaps echoing their previous lives and Shapes but unique in and of itself. This [Shape] contains the essence of all powers and abilities attained in that life, and then is correlated and mapped against all other [Shapes] Jumper has collected to create a [Shape of Shapes]-that is, the possibility space and collective strength of all that Jumper is and could be. This meta-Shape (known as [Wanderer]) is not just the sum of all the Shapes making it up, but the refined and perfected form of all that Jumper has been and could be (at that moment)-it is the ideal of taking all the complexity of Jumper, correlating what works, counterbalancing what doesn't, and refining every aspect until you arrive at a Final Shape. This Shape of Shapes is why everything stacks-more than that, it's why everything multiplies together and shows off more than the sum of its parts. Jumper is constantly refining themselves, taking the complexity of the multiverse, refining new Shapes, correlating them, and distilling it all into a singular Final Shape that transcends all things.
