You're not thinking big enough. The Chinese will need to send hundreds of thousands if not a couple million over the straits to take Taiwan. They won't be able to protect even a portion that number from missile and drone strikes. Imagine what a target rich environment that would be. It will certainlybe the single largest mass drowning incident since the Greek/Armenian genocide in the black sea coast. Can you imagine the carnage when the sharks start eating the Chinese for a change?
