Rome never was destroyed they just changed the name like the clever shape shifting reptilians they are. They won't be destroyed until after the great tribulation.

revelation is unveiling the triumph of Christ (to unbelievers who have not seen it yet), the fall of evil, and the reward for faithful endurance.
It is written using a chiastic structure to emphasis a cosmic joining with Earthly tribulation
For example one side of the chiastic structure is talking about events on earth
>the seven churches, and their challenges by Jesus himself for them to overcome
and the other side is about the spiritual transformation that happens to the churches
>New Jerusalem Prepared, Spiritual Marriage with Christ
Another example is the war in heaven results in the dragon(spiritually satan) is cast down to earth to inhabit the fallen beast to inhabit the antichrist body. The dragons tail brings down a 3rd of the stars in heaven with it and all of the angels in heaven rejoice over the triumph. Though now the battle is taken down to earth and Jesus finally comes down to end the beast forever.
Another example is the vials being poured out mirrors the bowls being poured out. You get part of Gods wrath poured out in 3rds with the vials, and on the other side you get divine completion as the entire bowl is poured out emphasizing divine fulfillment of God's wrath.
The narrative fulcrum is Rev 12 (center of chiastic structure)
it marks the shift between earthly judgements to cosmic conflict.
Jesus is the "rock made without hands" a sort of divine intervention that will take out "nebechadnezzar's statue" and in revelation the rock is Jesus riding on the white horse. Representing the fallen kingdoms being taken out all at once. Hitting the beast in the weakest point.

It's not my job to choose them, that will be Jesus job. They haven't been chosen yet. No I am millennial.
