I try to have the prison and the hospital near the food storage, but I don't take prisoners often so I usually don't care about that room much. Pawns often carry food with them so instead of trying to place the workshop and other work areas near the fridge/dining room, I just put tables nearby. I don't think I have screenshots of my optimized bases, so this silly one is all I can give you.
