Oh, sorry, Captain Pedantic. It's not South Africa but Eswatini, formerly Swaziland and the Cotswolds he divides his time between. Either way he doesn't live anywhere near Barry, so its odd he would be there. If you check his Instagram page this is literally a day after going to Turkey (or Türkiye as I'm sure you're pedantic enough to call it if it matters that much to you that someone on the internet said South Africa instead of Eswatini).
No old man pushing 70 is going to travel half way across Britain to see somewhere James Cordon filmed a sitcom once, just after landing on a plane, in the middle of a heatwave, unless it involves an un-rechedualable work appointment.
Its hardly as if he's gone on holiday by mistake.
