I ask about various in-jokes or the like all the time and get no answers. I have received genuine and very detailed explanations of the sport itself for which I am extremely grateful. I have done my damnedest to not rock the boat with my posting but the wisdom and understanding you all have is so esoteric that without some explanations I and similar posters won't know what sort of posting is uncouth or irritating to the previous crowd. I invite and request responses that explain the general behavior the old guard would prefer people not bring to the threads, both on and off basho.
