President Aliyev announced that Azerbaijan is preparing documents to file with international judicial bodies against Russia in connection with the AZAL aircraft incident.

He stated that the situation surrounding the AZAL plane incident is "as clear as day." According to him, over the past seven months, Azerbaijan has not received a single coherent response from the Russian side. The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan has been sending inquiries to the head of Russia's Investigative Committee, but the only reply has been the phrase: "the investigation is ongoing."

President Aliyev emphasized that such a stance is counterproductive. He confirmed that Azerbaijan intends to submit the case to international judicial authorities.

The head of state also recalled that the investigation into the crash of the Malaysian Boeing lasted more than ten years. He noted that Azerbaijan, too, is ready to wait as long as necessary.
