im a black phd student in statistics. my stupidest colleagues are easily the white guys. they're all so self-absorbed and vain. nothing i havent dealt with before, but i would've expected the "master race" to have grown out of this childish behavior by now. all they're good for is making myself look better in comparison and the professors end up liking me much more. got some good networking opportunities through them.

exactly, and this is true, much like how when you compare a middle-class white family with an identical (similar tax bracket, environment, economical situation) middle-class black family, the black family outperforms them in nearly every aspect, particularly education and voting outcomes. would it be the other way around, white people-as we see in this thread-would say it's genetic issue.
