well no, it's not actually misromanized
it's just a different romanization scheme
hepburn is the current one that's popular nowadays in english-speaking countries, but japan itself uses that or this one

there's older systems that you can see in books and historical names
jyaken for example is not actually wrong, it expresses which kana are used, and i guess therein lies the question with japanese romanization: how much do you want to convey the actual kana used, and how much do you want it to reflect how it's pronounced? such as with づ and ず both written as zu in hepburn because that's how it's said, but this also hides which kana it was written with, as opposed to writing them as du and zu
in fact, i have to type du to get づ when i type on my keyboard, and i have to type di to get ぢ
it's a whole thing (and then there's an even *bigger* thing with chinese romanization)
