I mean he's supposed to be a 1:1 of 3'3" Sonic. I think a lot of fans just subconsciously disregard Rouge's height advantage as being due to her prodigious high-heels. Something I find as interesting is Blaze is slightly shorter and exactly halfway between Sonic & Amy.
