See picrel. Didn't work as well as I expected in my head. I'd be fine with it as a shielded ship, I just wanted to figure out what a midline phase ship would do different to the other tech levels.

Plan was for frigate, destroyer and cruiser versions.
>Overlap
The overlap on the broadside isn't too bad, it's "acceptable" to me as it doesn't cover any of the barrels (even if it's still annoying), and you need to have dual guns in both the small and the mediums for it to be noticeable.
The missiles were bad though, I spaced them apart and it's still there.

It's not as bad as you'd think. It'll turn its nose to face the enemy when it's high on flux and try and use the turret, but when it's low on flux it will turn onto the broadside.
It is however unreliable enough that putting AAF as its weapon system is completely wasted unless its in player hands. Thinking about alternatives.
