can you please explain what the fuck do they hope to gain by pissing off their own userbase by sabotaging their own project in order to delay it despite not having any subscription service for the game or a patreon that would generate extra money from extended development? How the fuck does this benefit them in any way or form? If they could have released NPCs they would have done it a long ass time ago, Lemmy probably looked at the whole thing, thought that what they made is a fucking disaster and scrapped everything several times to get it right THATS INCOMPETENCE!
the whole game is a giant fucking mess under the hood, that's why everything is taking so long, they're working with a fucking engine made in Java 14 years ago by a bunch of amateurs, you think they expected it would grow into this size back when they started it?
