This is a franchise where you find posters for a Tool album and the 1992 film Tokyo Decadence, yet somehow the low iq nigger fanbase tricked itself into thinking that the world was in stasis from 1950 to 2077 and screech and shit themselves whenever reminded of the fact that they're incorrect and they don't understand the setting at all.

Common "modern assault rifles" are all older than dirt than this point and were all designed during the mid 21st century -- being old even when Fallout 1 was released. The fanbase treats these old gun designs as haram yet can somehow suspend disbelief for wacky crazy energy weapons when there's zero precedence to do so within the franchise itself.
