Honestly I really do find it really interesting how that despite us being literally in his Head we really can't know what Sunny could be thinking of during these moments. Like how even in the post neutral ending still there's people divided on whether or not Sunny does move on or even reconnects with his friends.
One thing of note I do especially like to think about is exactly what is relationship is with Basil. Now obviously lots of people see it as romantic but in a non-romantic view I do find it interesting at how similar they both are and how they might've filled the niche for each other that they both filled for the rest of the group.
