My favorite schizo theory is still that Suou was meant to be an amnesiac Yume, but the writer changed their mind at the last minute. Even her backstory of being found half dead in the desert fits, and under her eye patch she has the same eye color as Yume. And she constantly feels haunted by Abydos for reasons she doesn't understand, and hoshino after the battle feels like she met Suou before but she can't quite remember it.
