I'm millennial and it's not something we've seen until your generation. It's fascinating at first to see so many zoomers doing it, but it becomes sad when you realize zoomers are doing it because an entire generation never learned how to be normal, and being quiet means never exposing your inexperience (even though the inexperience is extremely clear).
