this is a vent but does anyone else hate how improving in art (or life in general) makes you super isolated and alone?

i left my friend group because all they did was play counter strike and smoke weed all day, and none of them had any ambition. i stopped using discord and twitter because it's the same vibe, like you're better off barely touching these sites. same with 4chan. i'm not saying like oh i'm a better person than everyone on these sites, but it's like everyone is smoking weed and making dick jokes all the time and i'm trying really hard to make my dreams come true, and it's really lonely. does anyone else relate?
