If I can just get a coder to help me and stay onboard we can get the ball rolling no problem. I already have a codebase done with support for rollback netcode but the problem is that I don't make enough to keep them on a payroll and they inevitably flake. This is the main reason my game's been stuck in dev hell.
Game design isn't linear, if I can just get the right team together, we'll get things done. But until then the only thing I'm making some progress on is the 3D models. I'm planning on giving it a lowpoly Namco System 11 kinda look, because I like retro fighting games and that's what it's based on anyway.
