“Your choice. Take these two and leave. Or fight me.” Goar says, glaring menacingly down at the last man standing. Who clearly is the smartest of the three, as he grabs the other two without hesitation and turns to flee. Only to see you and Meloka standing there at the end of the alley, freezing in his tracks. “What are you stopping for? You-?”
But then your student sees you and your wife looking on, a grin coming to his face as he shouts out.
“General Karn! Meloka!” he shouts, the hooded figure's sudden fear so palpable you can taste it in the air. Almost feeling Bane's specter in your head taking a deep breath of it. “Sorry I wasn't at practice today, I ran into a small problem.”
“General Karn! This brutish oaf is attempting to steal our property!” the one remaining thug says, his sudden change of tact surprising you as he pulls his hood off. Revealing a scaly, reptilian face with red eyes. “That girl behind him is our property, and this brute is trying to steal her from us! Without compensation.”
“These slaver bastards kidnapped this girl from her home, and she tried to escape.” Goar responds, an angry tone to his voice. “They were going to kill her, General.”
“Kill? Nonsense. She's far more valuable alive.” the lizard man says, blinking slowly. “No, she will be... Reeducated, and shown the error of her ways. But not killed.”
“Tch.” your wife exhales through clenched teeth, you hearing her knuckles pop as she clenches her fists. But she doesn't move, clearly waiting for your cue on how to handle this.
Well? What do you do? How do you handle this?
>Tell these slavers they're lucky Goar's letting them leave with their lives, he's strong enough to kill all of them without even transforming
>Order Goar to let it go, if she's truly their property then they have a right to in. Unless he wishes to steal her from them, to take what he wants because he's stronger than them that is
>Settle this diplomatically, take EVERYONE to the administration building and have the city pay for the girl's release
>Walk past everyone and kneel down by the figure, ask if she's okay and what she wants
>Tell them that you don't care, but this dispute is between them and Goar to settle. Either they fight him for the girl, or they can leave
