The thing is, when you hear "human development index" it sounds as if you're actually comparing a lot of different factors and calculating them in as objective a way as possible, to determine which countries are more developed than others.
Wikipedia (I know it's generally not a trustworthy source but let's practice some critical thinking here) says right there that this measurement method was developed to calculate, in other words, how much countries are following the United Nations' objectives for a one world globohomo government; of what the United Nations considers "development". They don't really measure ACTUAL development, as in terms of R&D, GDP, visual indicators of urbanization, infrastructure quality, crime rates, culture decency level, number of books read per year individually, etc.
The article says factors such as life expectancy, education level and personal income are taken into account. I don't know about you, but you could have a country full of deeply indoctrinated people who falsely believe they're highly educated because their diploma says so, with women who earn a lot of money through services such as OnlyFans, who for some reason live up to 90 years of age... A country full of people like that doesn't sound like the most developed one, you know? It is difficult to scientifically measure how beautiful a country is on average because this is more empirical and an abstract concept such as beauty can't be fully explained by scientism.
At least that's how I see it at the moment (before this thread gets locked or phased out), correct me if I'm wrong.
